During all my years out, bartenders and waitresses always responded differently when you try to strike a conversation with them. No matter who it was, if they were working, they were always less interested than your typical girl in a bar. It’s pretty frustrating considering they are usually the best looking girls there. We’re talking about a group of the highest caliber girls who no one has suggested a plan for, and they do require their own plan.


I needed to know why I could walk up to the best looking girl in a bar and be successful, yet if the same girl were in a work uniform, it would never workout as well. Some people might say ‘because they’re working’ or ‘they don’t have time to talk’ but that’s all rubbish. If you want it bad enough, there’s always a way in. I just so happened to find that way in by mistake.





Yes, the answer is ginger ale. Well, the answer is actually asking them for a non-alcoholic beverage.


The key is that they are used to having guys drinking in front of them all night, and over time they’ve learned to block them out as customers, not people. I’m picturing their mindset being ‘this guy is drinking, I’m not’ and then you add all the belligerent drunks they’ve ran into, and you understand why they’ve mostly ruled out making a connection on the job…until now!


I saw the air of respect on her face as soon as I said ginger ale, and I knew I had a shot. It goes back to the principle of being different, the request alone makes them think ‘Who is this guy? Why isn’t he drinking?’. Now they want answers from you, not the other way around.


The first time I did this, the girl stopped working for 10 minutes just to talk to me, and then gave me her number. It works.
